The MANTRA Study awarded Best Abstract at UEG Week 2019

AGIRF is pleased to announce that The MANTRA (Multi-disciplinary Treatment for Functional Gut Disorders) Study - lead by gastroenterologist Dr. Chamara Basnayake was awarded Best Abstract in the Treatment of IBS session at UEG (United European Gastroenterology) Week in October 2019 in Barcelona, Spain.

​

The abstract - entitled: "Optimal delivery of care for functional gastro-intestinal disorders: Randomised controlled trial of standard gastroenterologist versus multi-disciplinary care (the MANTRA study)" was deemed best abstract presentation in the session.  Congratulations to Chamara and the entire MANTRA Study Team!
